The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest, most modern and greenest ski areas in the world. 82 modern lifts, covering over 270 km of ski runs with 80 mountain huts will bring variety and fun to any winter day.
Incredibly vast, incredibly varied, incredibly welcoming: SkiWelt brings together the best of winter on its more than 270 km of ski runs - and it’s only an hour's drive from Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich. 82 ultra-modern lifts lead from the nine entry points straight up the mountain. A unique mountain panorama opens out at the top, with views of over 70 3,000m-high peaks extending as far as the Grossglockner. If you need a break, some 80 rustic-style, family-run huts with sun terraces and table service can offer typical Tyrolean fare.
Winter fun for all ages
Whether it’s beginners, families, super-fit skiers or leisure skiers: SkiWelt has a range of ski runs that will meet the needs of every type of skier. Families will find plenty of easy and incredibly wide ski runs and practice pistes, as well as 22 professional ski schools, each with their own children's classes as well as youngster and toddler supervision right there on the mountain. All pistes are incredibly wide and are perfectly groomed every day. There are blue, red or black ski runs, so even if a group has different skiing skills, individuals can choose their own preference according to their ability and enjoyment. Then at the end of the day everyone can meet up for the onward journey. Safety first: SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. skiwelt.at/families
Variety from the early hours until late at night
For those who love variety, there is something new to discover every day on the 270 km of piste. Skiers can choose a different route every day, so that no piste is skied twice, unless of course you want to. For the really energetic, multi-skier, there’s the SkiWelt Tour. You could even add in the KitzSkiWelt Tour, the longest ski circuit in the world. Keep on skiing until your calves ache: on your marks, get set, for 20 incredibly long valley ski runs. For thrill seekers there are three fun and snow parks with different levels of difficulty, ski movie, racing and speed monitoring tracks as well as from Wednesday to Saturday Austria's largest night ski area in Söll. From the 16th of Feburary, SkiWelt Brixen and SkiWelt Westendorf will carry all early risers up on to the pistes every Friday and Saturday from 7.30 am at no additional cost. Some 22 km of freshly groomed pistes provide an opportunity for you to enjoy sunrise skiing. Oh, and by the way, from the end of January SkiWelt is again extending its opening hours in the afternoon, thereby allowing even longer fun on the pistes. Even longer ski adventures for the same price. That is an annual SkiWelt bonus. skiwelt.at
No piste twice on the SkiWelt Tour
On the SkiWelt Tour, skiers and snowboarders can discover for themselves the best features of one of the largest, most modern and greenest ski areas in the world. Depending on your direction of travel, there are 69 to 84 km of piste between Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Scheffau, Söll and Westendorf. The SkiWelt Tour can be completed in one or more days and you can start and finish in any location. And the best bit: you don’t need to use a lift or ski the same downhill twice...unless you want to. In addition, there’s a SkiWelt mountain hut every 3.5 km, so if you need a break, stop off and sample some delicious regional delicacies. skiwelt.at/skiwelttour
Make sure you know this: it’s the longest ski circuit in the world
You should take the KitzSkiWelt Tour at least once in your life: the longest ski circuit in the world combines the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and the adjoining KitzSki ski area. The 88 km of downhills, which means covering 17,000 altitude metres, extend from Tyrol to Salzburg. And this tour, the ultimate skiing experience, can also start and finish in any location. The longest variant extends from Going to Hollersbach and back. The tour can be completed in one day or over several days. There is also a ski bus connection from Pass Thurn back to Brixental. Whether you choose the KitzSkiWelt Tour-Ticket as a day ticket or the SuperSkiCard for multi-day tickets – all guests have numerous options to choose from for this very special adventure. www.kitzskiwelt.at
