Modern gondola lift opens up new views on the Hohe Salve

In spring 2026, Bergbahnen Söll will reach another milestone in comfort, accessibility and future readiness: the 8-seater gondola to Hohe Salve will be extensively modernised and equipped with brand-new cabins. The lift will resume operation on 1 July.

Barrier-free access & “heavenly” design

Step-free, level boarding, barrier-free cabins, and a new lift at the summit station ensure a smooth and stress-free mountain experience for all guests – especially families, seniors, and visitors with reduced mobility. Large panoramic windows open up breathtaking views of the alpine landscape. Each gondola cabin is dedicated to a different constellation, giving every ride its own unique identity and design concept.

The original 8-seater cabins (built in 2000) of the Hohe Salve gondola were available for purchase from May 2026. Each cabin was priced at €3,000 incl. VAT.
