Construction progress on schedule despite corona
at the Salvistabahn in the SkiWelt Itter

Now that the cableway technology for the mountain, middle and valley stations, including the gondola station, has been completed and fine tuning work has begun, the haul rope has been spliced and placed on the supports in section 1. Thus the haulage ropes of section 1 and 2 are ready for operation. The station buildings at the upper and middle stations are nearing completion, the lower station building will be finished by the end of September. The trial operation of the cableway will start on 20 September, and will last about 5 weeks. The official acceptance work for the installation will begin at the beginning of November.
